@daedalus @iris @screenbeard I find it very confronting that a profession have been excluded. I’ve read the posts. I know the reasons. I’ve seen some people get a bit nasty and superior about it. I’ve seen interesting people leave. It’s sad.

A giant of the car world, Ken Block has died aged 55 after a snowmobile accident.

His impact on car and popular culture was absolutely massive, easily as big or bigger than Netflix's Drive to Survive. Except stuff like Gymkhana was just pure automotive joy. Godspeed, Ken.

@workingclasshistory I remember. I did VCE in 1990. Our overarching English topic was “justice”. I kept a scrapbook of newspaper articles revolving around justice. The transport strikes featured a lot in it.
