Tried something weird for Experiment 4: gave Gemini (2.5 Pro experimental version) a super vague, poetic HMW question and asked it to go wild. 
Some ideas were chaotic, but a few metaphors turned into actual design directions that could be used. 🤙

Tried contradiction mapping with ChatGPT, had it generate bad ideas first, then flip the assumptions.
Some of the reversals were surprisingly thoughtful. Calling it a mid success but definitely unlocked new thinking.

Used NNG Research Assistant GPT again... and honestly, I love it!
Took my intentionally bad ideas from Experiment 1 and turned them into thoughtful, emotionally aware concepts. Even picked its own top 3 with UX reasoning. Definitely using this one again! 👌

Started the ideate phase 💡 with a little fun - ran an experiment where I asked Gemini to generate bad, boring ideas on purpose for a HMW statement generated in my define phase. Wanted to see if AI could go low on command. It did 😂

Tried the NNG Research Assistant to turn my Pinterest journey map into HMWs and... it kinda nailed it! The statements it generated were clear, grounded, and ready to be used in the next phase - ideation.

Tried uploading my journey map (a very basic one) to Gemini for critique. It pointed out missing stages, broke down vague pain points, and reframed some ideas. Honestly made me think deeper about the map. I think it’s a good design-thinking co-pilot.
