@rhelune Maybe at last his Brandmauer towards leftwing politics will fall 😁

For people worried about their following on X / Twitter, it's really truly not worth it.

I've left behind 74K followers. I don't miss having my content on there at all, and it has clearly *not* affected traffic even in the slightest bit.

It's been a week since my last content posted from the website to X, so I have a pretty good look at traffic now, there was literally *no* drop-off, and the first few days after leaving X traffic went up 🤷

@shanselman all i want is to be able to customize my cgm’s alarm begaviour. Currently, if the blood glucose goes high, it will give you an alarm once and thats it, no more alarms or reminders after that. Always a pleasure to wake up in the morning and noticing your blood sugar has been >300mg/dl all night because youve misjudged or forgotten the insulin shot you took before going to sleep.

A reminder alarm every two hours that my blood sugar is still high is all I need, but I cannot have it because of proprietary and closed-off software.

@doylio @arstechnica backing renewables with nuclear is not a very good strategy, nuclear power plants can reduce their output but cant shut off completely, which they should at peak renewable generation times. So you will always pay for expensive nuclear power while wasting renewables.

Policy makers and thinktanks see a lot of potential in power2gas (especiallly hydrogen), it has bad efficieny (~30%) but its more flexible and potentially cheaper than nuclear power.

@gamingonlinux just 1AM? I play 15 minutes of Rimword and suddenly its 6AM
@bigMouthCommie @GrrlScientist perfect is the enemy of good, not everyone will immediately go vegan but that percentage of people is getting smaller and smaller. Besides, its no use pretending that we have to destroy 100% of animal agriculture for it to yield benefits.
@bigMouthCommie @GrrlScientist they come hand in hand, the more people who are aware of the issues regarding animal agriculture, the more vegans you have and the more support you have in politics for this measure, which is why advocating for people to go vegan is exactly the best thing next to voting that you and I as non-policymakers can do.
@bigMouthCommie @GrrlScientist but somehow me advertising a vegan diet does not work in your mond? Veganism has been on the rise in the western world for years and meat consumption in decline, which clearly shows that argument is invalid
@bigMouthCommie @GrrlScientist the accelerating factors dont require action on the consumers, but these measures wont become reality unless we already have a large population of people living on a plant based diet
@bigMouthCommie @GrrlScientist for inventions that is a valid argument, its not for meat based products. If consumers dont consume animal products. They wont be produced anymore
