@marcedwards I’m not sure. But it seems not having oklch is a huge oversight. If it’s not available in the design tool it probably won’t get used in the final product.
@marcedwards Hi Marc. What are your thoughts on Figma not supporting OKLCH? Is it because Figma is slow to adopt it, or does it not make sense to use OKLCH in Figma?
@marcedwards Hi Marc. Thought I'd let you know. I pulled the trigger on a 16" with nano-texture and couldn't be happier. The screen is as sharp as my previous 16" M1 with the glossy screen. The blacks are great too. I cannot see any drawbacks to choosing the nano-texture over the glossy screen.

@marcedwards Yeah, seeing it in person is probably the best option.

In the video, he mentions a subtle difference in sharpness, noting that if you have eagle-eye vision, you might be able to spot it. For a designer’s eye, though, it likely feels like more than just a subtle difference.

I’ll let you know when I have time to check it out in real life. Screen quality is one of my pet peeves.

Nano-Texture M4 MacBook: Is It Worth It? Matte vs Glossy!

@marcedwards Maybe it was someone else, sorry 😆🧠 Marques Brownlee has a video. It seems cleaning is not an issue anymore. https://youtu.be/9HQx5pgUoiY?si=pZlSZ-IoNTznihAI&t=434

I remember people talking about how the nano texture would blur the pixels making it less sharp.

Would you get the glossy or the matte screen if you were to buy a Macbook Pro 16" today?

Hi, @marcedwards. Any thoughts on the nano display option? I seem to remember you not recommending it for the Apple XDR.
