Time for some #isoposting! This brilliant common woodlouse was hidden beneath a piece of bark and was patient enough to let me take a focus stack.

Wandering the forest and flipping pieces of bark gotta be one of the activities ever

For the last day of #arachtober, have this O. canestrinii harvestman! My first close encounter with a harvestperson

i will never get over these goofy eyes

Zebra spider with a snack from a couple of weeks ago.

I always seem to find them on guard rails, and found this one with that thought in mind. I guess they like to soak in the stored heat from the metal

This species is characterized by the 4 dark spots on its abdomen which can be seen on this second spider I found on the same plant. Its german common name is "Four-spot soft(?) spider"

So many spiders out and about at the moment!

Anyphaena accentuata in its retreat. During the night they come out to hunt small insects

I love photographing the absolute tiniest spiders I can find.

Often just a few millimeters in size, they're not much more than moving motes of dust. That's what makes revealing their details all the more rewarding!

@catselbow Thank you! I spotted it as a tiny white something while taking a break from shooting a jumping spider. Had to do a double take to realize it was not a piece of debris or something! I'll keep an eye out to find more in the future
@budak I can definitely see the resemblance, but I'm thinking it's a whitefly or similar. Dusty winged lacewings look to be a bit larger too
@catselbow yup, that's what I'm thinking too!
