Seeing a movie in a theater tonight. The ticket taker told me there was a mid credit scene. At this point I pretty much always search Kagi for it, but was a nice touch for to be told so I didn’t have to figure it out.
@gruber figured it out—just mark as unread and the priority notification comes back. Edited to remove my personal information.

Here's a fun one @gruber — I am not a Mail user for the most part, but wanted to check out the new categories feature on macOS.

I turned them on and this was the AI suggested primary email: a phishing scam for Netflix.

I don't know if there's a way to prompt the suggestion again or not (again, not an avid mail user), but as you can see from the sender info this should've been something that hit Junk and definitely not prioritized

9/16 I had really never done more than a hello world in swift.

12/18 I submitted to the App Store.

12/18 I was rejected from the App Store.

12/19 yup, I was rejected from the App Store then too.

12/22 I got to press the release button for my first iOS app.

There’s still so much work to do, but I am so happy to have gotten to this point. 🤘

App Store

Started working on learning Swift/SwiftUI in September and yesterday I submitted our app XP app to the store. Almost three months to the day from beginning to initial release.

Was a lot of help from design and marketing teams and a crazy number of late nights to pull it off. So happy and proud though!

🤞for a fast approval!

Man, I have totally fallen off my social media game. Which, to be fair, wasn’t great before, but has now become non existent.

Spent October learning Swift and SwiftUI and as of yesterday have an internal beta of our app. Still lots of UI work to do, but definitely getting there! External testing in a week or so! 🤞

Excited for Friendsgiving tomorrow!

Undocumented immigrants paid $97B in taxes in 2022.

T-Mobile, Office Depot, and Duke Energy made billions in profits but paid nothing in federal income taxes between 2018 and 2022.

Remember this the next time the undocumented are called "freeloaders."

Fellow Apple nerds—did you guys know you can disable the privacy indicators (i.e. orange dot of death) on external displays now?

Its been driving me nuts, but found this support article about it. Finally don't have to jump through a bunch of unapproved hoops to make it happen.

Hide privacy indicators on external displays in macOS - Apple Support

In macOS Sonoma 14.4 or later, you can choose to hide the privacy indicators on an external display while you're viewing an app in full screen. The privacy indicators still appear on the main display of your Mac.
