@jeffjarvis I agree journalists perform a critical service to society but I’m not sure I saw any mention of “targeting” journalists. Words matter Jeff. You of all people should know this. War zones are chaotic places and it seems unrealistic that anyone can assure journalists safety. If there was indeed a documented case of targeting journalists that’s a big deal. A journalist getting caught out in the wrong place at the wrong time does not constitute targeting of said journalist
