@lauren The tensioners in the joints go loose over time. You might just need to give them a tweak with an allen wrench.

@declan the gears will crunch eventually, since it uses the same motors as the ones in your SE and SE/30. Would recommend picking up a packet of replacement gears from Kero’s Mac Mods and relubricating the drive. It’s a great weekend project!

@sethmarinello Thanks. My theory based on research is that the changeover to Rev B logic boards happened sometime in Q3 1994, but I don't have enough data to affirmatively state that
@sethmarinello Can you tell me the build date on the back of the system? Should be under the serial number.
