I just don't understand why people don't get that "states' rights" is just code for racism.
The same people who keep talking about "states' rights" are quick to impose federal will on states whenever it suits them, as they are planning to do when they use federal courts or federal legislation to outlaw Plan B in all states.
They only talk about "states' rights" at certain times, and it doesn't take much to figure out when and why.
Ebony and Jet captured the environment that Black Americans were forced to endure over the years. In their 4 million images, the magazines chronicled the civil rights movement and the lives of prominent figures such as Miles Davis, Muhammad Ali, Nina Simone, and Coretta Scott King at her husband’s funeral.

Is it pretty safe to say that if #ScottAdams had no Black friends before last week, then he definitely doesn’t have any now? LOL.
Tell us how you really feel den! I’d rather know than not know, that’s for sure.
What I appreciate about Mastodon is how it takes me out of affinity bubbles. What do I mean by this?
On Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, algorithms constantly feed me stuff from people it believes I want to see.
It ends up being the same type of people: nerdy white dudes and conventionally attractive women.
Because Mastodon has no similar algorithm, I'm not put in that box!
I see more LGBT+, POC, neurodiverse, disabled, etc. on here than in Big Social.
I'm thankful for this opportunity!
