Today’s lunch walk. I wouldn’t dip a toe in the Platte due to the wild array of industrial abuse of the land around it over the last ~150 years, but it’s there, it’s rather clean looking on the surface, and there’s even water-plants down in the water!

If we’ve been having a conversation and I suddenly stop being able to do things like meet your eyes or not interrupt you, I am terribly sorry, I am just flat out of conversational juice at that point and need to go hide in a figurative (or, hell, literal?) cave for an hour or two
