lately I've been feeling like I can exist
@codydragonrude Linux ports are often broken in weird ways, don't receive updates, don't work online, sometimes it's better to use proton
A depiction made in the silk of the beast that overran my last #DwarfFortress, of the aforementioned colossus beating someone to death with a sock, on a bed made of amethyst. 😮
If you hate Windows, simply switch to Linux so you can hate Linux instead
the coast next to my #DwarfFortress is now home to a magical bronze colossus. It wandered onto the frozen ocean after murdering a couple dozen of my dwarves, and then in the winter thaw it just sank. It hasn't moved since. I hope it stays there...
@ErikBussink @BlindiRL Hello I'm pretty sure it's safe to touch werebeast blood, and the curse is only transmissible through wounds that break the skin. As for cleaning blood, though, I really don't know. Citizens that can "clean" will go around cleaning it up eventually, probably, unless it gets tracked around everywhere and endlessly multiplying. Maybe set some dwarves to only clean for a bit
@DonWeaver going no contact with my family so i can live ad free
i am loving the new #DwarfFortress and i hope my dwarves are loving it too
if maths bad pls correct, it's late here

lot of people saying in Australia that any efforts we make to reduce our carbon emissions are pointless because we're 'only' responsible for 1.4% of global emissions

which is bullshit, but

the phrase that gets thrown around is, 'a drop in the ocean'. well. me being bored just now did some maths.

https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/oceanwater.html

this site claims there's 1.335 billion cubic kilometres of water in the ocean.

1.4% of that is 187 sextillion litres. that's 49 sextillion US gallons.

more than a drop

How much water is in the ocean?

About 97 percent of Earth's water is in the ocean.

@k4gi this is me btw, I've started running my own instance
