I applied for emergency funds from welfare and they giving me a whooping 40$.. I need to make rent (430$) and get my car further checked, tho I'm at my limits with my car tbh.. Gonna check a few final things. I depend on a car, but can't afford a new one. I'm disabled and the financial stress is just flaring my illness up real bad.. I hate asking for help.. hey y’all, it’s kinda been two weeks from hell for me and @sativa - our hot water tank rusted through (we have no hot water, we’re in the southern hemisphere and it’s winter here), our plates stopped being microwave safe, we’ve run out of food aside from some ramen and vegetables and cans of chickpeas, we’re out of a few medications (anti-androgens and muscle relaxers), and we’re out of cannabis (our primary psych and chronic illness medication). we were expecting a payment to clear a few days ago, but it’s still not going through until at least tomorrow (possibly longer? international banking has been pretty iffy and unpredictable for us) and things are getting pretty dire, we ended up having a really bad chronic illness and migraine day yesterday because we haven’t been eating enough.

we’re asking for for $135 for the essentials to get us through the next few days while we figure out what’s going on with our pay

• $50 for food
• $15 for spiro
• $20 for muscle relaxers
• $15 for 4 grams of cannabis & $15 for taxis to and from weedfriend
• $5 for ceramic plates that won’t explode macroplastics when they get hot
• $15 for taxis to & from a friend of ours who’s offered us a hot shower

anything extra we receive will go towards a new water heater - the cheapest we’ve found is $250 - but the first $135 is exclusively earmarked for the essentials listed above
