Roughly a month ago I've upgraded my VR headset from Index to Bigscreen Beyond 2e. I am very happy with it — now I can spend longer without feeling the weight of my headset and the high resolution makes watching videos in VR actually enjoyable. But I admit it is an incredibly niche device intended for users who already have base station setup and for whom the weight is a major comfort factor. And it is not without drawbacks: there is a glare that is noticeable when you look at a large bright object in a total darkness and the ratio of faulty devices seems to be higher than the Index's, I myself had to request a replacement cable because my current one causes USB disconnects from time to time.
If it turns out to still be profitable for Bigscreen, I hope it inspires other companies to produce niche VR devices.
Got any games on your toaster?

Hai (@bestyeen.bsky.social) made thermal photos of fursuits at #EF29 I was curious to see the results, it seems that it allows one to see which parts of suit are closer to the body and who wears a cooling vest.
A cute gesture from Radisson hotel, but I wish it wasn’t generated -.-
They forbade furries at #Ibercon hotel but we still came.
