I enabled Secure Boot in my #ArchLinux. I stomped all over my EFI system partition and UEFI variables without really knowing what I was doing and I did have to fall back to my installation medium to restore systemd-boot. But at the end I created a unified kernel image directly launched from UEFI and was able to remove systemd-boot.
