I was just reading the post you have on colors (fascinating) and your point about -color being added to some of them is something that also happens in Portuguese (my native language) for a couple of non-primary colors, orange ("cor-de-laranja", lit. "color of orange") and pink ("cor-de-rosa", lit. "color of rose"), but non of the others 😅 looking forward to seeing more posts!
