In general, my more touristy pictures do better than my close observation ones, so I was a little surprised that this one from the New York High Line was just one favorite more successful than my least popular one:
My least successful post was just two weeks later. It got only 4 favorites. It wasn't that impressive a composition, but I liked the juxtaposition of art with a window.

My "philosophy" of #FensterFreitag
I try to be a generalist, rather than specializing in one kind of window view. So I have inward and outward facing views. Sometimes the window frame or the building the window is in is the object of attention, sometimes it is what one can see in the window. Sometimes I aim for "arty" shots, sometimes I am purely documentary. Sometimes I photograph famous sites, though mostly I aim for the everyday.
