Hi Fediverse denizens. I've been working on a project I hope will help Fediverse devs make software that federates across ALL services, not just Mastodon-plus-a-few-others.

It's called the Fediverse Schema Observatory and before launching it, I am opening up a public comment period re: safety and privacy.

Note that mainstream news articles are now calling #Mastodon a "competitor" to #Twitter -- which to my way of thinking is a massive boost in public awareness. Since these stories are mentioning Musk's actions to block Mastodon, they're suggesting that he feels Mastodon is a threat to Twitter's future. Excellent!

We know Mastodon profiles encourage listing and verifying important links. TruAnon makes it easy for anyone to confirm social media properties we use everyday. Many of these properties are difficult or even impossible to verify using Mastodon alone. This makes trust accessible to everyday people as well as the tech-savvy.
