Alabama and Ohio want to set a precedent that you can ignore Supreme Court rulings?

Awesome. I’m all for it

Let’s start by:

Giving back our reproductive rights
Prosecuting anyone who discriminates against the LGBTQIA+ community
Allowing student debt forgiveness
Continuing affirmative action
Give the Navajo nation water rights
Give back the EPA’s power to do its job

Never forget this: Working people outnumber the billionaires and CEOs by a huge margin. If we stand in solidarity, we will win.
White Christians complaining about how teaching black history to kids in schools teaches white children to be ashamed of who they are, then immediately insisting that all trans children be taught they should be ashamed of who they are

Yes, and I notice you are using a few dozen trackers. Turn off the trackers and I will look at your ads. Until then, we are at an impasse.

@AnarchoNinaWrites see what they don't get is that decent doesn't equal nice. Actually, in extreme situations, the most decent people will be the least nice, because the situation calls for it. Sometimes the only reaction a decent person can have to something is outrage, and that's part of what makes them decent! And the people who confuse decency for niceness — i.e., those who confuse moral fiber for manners — are, well, the people who either were Nazis, or preferred them, because Nazis can be quite mannered.

**CALLING ALL FRIENDS, ADVOCATES, AND ACTIVISTS** A leaked e-mail from a Texas Department of Protective Safety trooper documents the remarkably cruel measures Governor Greg Abbott has instituted at the border to deter crossings. These include hidden razor wire traps, the withholding of water even in extreme heat, and orders to push migrants—including children and infants—back into the Rio Grande where they might drown. The sight of razor wire to corral innocent human beings has echoes for me personally, when similar wire surrounded the Japanese American internment camps of my youth. We cannot let Governor Greg Abbott get away with this. I'm calling on you, my friends, advocates and activists, to help put a stop to this by signing the petition demanding the Biden Administration puts an end to these inhumane practices against migrants in Texas.

@AnarchoNinaWrites

They can only become so violent in response to our protests. If enough of us strike, protest, go violent, we’re ungovernable & things have to change. They can go on full military dictatorship & continue burning the planet to a cinder, which is happening anyway, or give in & save us all from the precipice. We literally have nothing to lose now.

I've been saying this so long it made me seem unreasonable.
