Happy 30th to one of my all-time favorite movies. It's the movie I can pinpoint back to helping me fall in love with film. Spielberg made 10 yr old me believe that dinosaurs were alive (40 yr old me still believes, don't worry!) Perfect casting, an amazing score by Williams, and VFX that still hold their own today.

Today's joy - music. I threw on some tunes tonight and just rocked out for a bit, and it was a huge mood lifter.
Opening May 1, 1981, Friday the 13th Part 2 takes place 5 yrs after the original and introduces an adult Jason Voorhees. It pulled in $21.7 Million at the box office. It includes one of my favorite final girls, Ginny.
Released on March 22, 1985, Friday the 13th: A New Beginning grossed $22 million at the box office.
While not my favorite sequel, it has grown on me with each rewatch. A continuation of Tommy's story and introduces Reggie the Reckless.
