I'm declaring "protocol" my word of the summer for exciting new #rstats support:

- {arrow} lets us use the magic of parquet files by... interfacing with a standard data storage protocol ( @jonkeane)

- {ark} gives is all kinds of incredible new features by... interfacing with various standard protocols ( @davis @lionel )

It's so cool to use Open Source and to get to just hang out and do my own data science thing and regularly recieve incredible new free tools. 🥰
