No, it is possible - the shape-inside path can consist of multiple sub paths. But unlike in Illustrator or Scribus, that means that you can’t change z-order of that second subpath.

@eliteamdgamer what would be your No. 1 feature that Inkscape is missing? There are several key maps available, if that helps.

Though I do have to say, Affinity runs fine on Linux. There are guides online. I’ve used that to develop Inkscape’s affinity importer.
