I remember seeing Apollo 13 back in around 1996-97 for the first time. It was so cool to see the rocket to turn into launch position and "take off".
There's more going on than meets the eye: you might notice the ball I shot into the rocket doesn't seem to come out, even when there's a saucer hidden inside. If you look more closely, you'll see a passage way opens under the rocket, just above the black ramp flap when the rocket starts moving. As it's blinking the orange flasher light, it lets go of the ball, which falls below the playfield and into a passage way which ultimately leads back into the ball through. Meanwhile the machine autoplunges new balls into the game.
