Had an eye appt. yesterday, apparently my eyesight hasn't gotten much worse, but without my glasses I definitely think it's gotten worse.

Also sold my dad on getting a robot vacuum + mop, so I can upgrade mine to one without the LIDAR on top, which can fit under more of my furniture :D

Just heard someone blow an airhorn twice. That really better not have been the stupid neighbours upstairs
Going to the optometrist tomorrow to order new glasses, and all the stores have generated thousands of AI articles, which make it even harder than before to tell what's real, and what's marketing.
I got SSH to the Linux Terminal (an inbuilt VM) in Android working over wifi :D
Was expecting to have to set up Tailscale to even get this far, as other posts are a little vague on the requirements.
It is a little fiddly, and you do need to do an ADB connect
Does Nintendo seriously only have like 1 new major game to show off? This is ridiculous
This Nintendo show is pretty underwhelming so far. Are they just holding it back for the second half?

Been working way through some QMK docs to customise the firmware of my keyboard, and man there's a lot of shitty defaults.

Like LEDs won't go to sleep when the computer turns off, but if you enable that, you need to set more flags so it can still wake the computer.
and on and on it goes.

I've at least now got it set up so my vim modes change the RGB colour on both sides, and aren't super bright (that was also quite the struggle)

Was thinking about Kratos in Greek mythology as I came across a defense contractor with the name, and thought "Maybe the overthrow of the titans represented a shift towards a more ordered society"
It has been theorised as such apparently (annoyingly no sources on the Encyclopedia page)
Reading the Gears of War wiki page last night and it reminds me a lot of Warhammer 40K now. Locusts are basically like Orks + Tyranids, the planet's name is Sera, Ares backwards, and Mars is one of the more important planets in 40K. Obviously there's also the big bulky dudes and their chainsaws.
(I don't think WH40K has proper chainsaw guns, but it probably would have if it fit with the tabletop mechanics)
