Thinking of buying a 2nd hand workstation locally for my home server.
So now I'm looking at what models are available with more than one bay.
I'd use my existing hardware, but it's either inefficient, semi-broken, or in use.
Just knowing it's more efficient + proven would skip some mental roadblocks

@jon_dog All the mobile OS stuff phrases like "using all the memory is good, stop worrying about it" seems to forget that apps can just have shitty GC, that the desktop use case is very different to a mobile phone, and we aren't all running off of batteries
I wish some serious graphics programmers would get involved with browsers to stop them needing to consume so much memory to render so little.
