⚠️The bacteria most likely to have induced AmpC β-lactamase are Enterobacter cloacae, Klebsiella (Enterobacter) aerogenes, and Citrobacter freundii. DO NOT use ceftriaxone and ceftazidime against these bacteria, even if they test susceptible. Cefepime is OK if MIC ≤2 mcg/mL. If higher, use a carbapenem
