I've been lurking here for about a month so I guess it's time for an #introduction post.
I think the first time I connected to the internet was around 1992 or 1993, with 10+ years of using BBS's before that. I've joined most of the major social networks early on but for whatever reason, I didn't sign up for Mastodon until recently.
I'm sure you can guess what prompted it...
I'm an Apple nerd. Or more accurately, a Mac nerd. I use all of Apple’s platforms but the Mac is the reason for that.
My first experiences with computers were in the 8-bit home computer days and I’ll always have a soft spot for those machines. The Commodore 64 was my jam but I used the Apple II, Atari, TRS-80, and various others. If I had the space, I'd spend way too much money on building my own computer museum.
I'll probably post mostly about tech-related stuff but anything and everything that grabs my interest is fair game.
