@pervognsen I tried the video streaming on Matrix recently and it was perfectly fine, though I have no idea if they were just eating the cost for a bunch of free matrix servers or if it was a p2p thing

@jplebreton at one point when egs was throwing exclusivity money around indiscriminately and i was hoping to ship something imminently, i was vaguely hoping to maybe secure some of that (what would have been lifechanging money). in hindsight i think there would have been no surer way to make sure nobody ever played it. game pass i think is the same thing. kind of takes away the very act of entering the audience

sometimes someone isn't sure how to take the tone of conversation in the 'cord, how seriously to take various offhand remarks, and we say "just imagine it's people talking down the pub" but a lot of mfs on the internet have never been down the pub. it's a problem

but it's the same thing there of assuming you're welcome because you've not picked a fight. you've just sorta come to someone's party and let the host know "i may not like you but you throw a great party". haha uhh at least don't drink my beer
