Whoever named the agile work unit a “sprint” obviously never engaged in long distance running. You can’t sprint for 2 weeks. Ever. A sprint is something one builds into their training only periodically to build strength. Training involving constant sprinting produces overtraining which results in injury and decreased performance.

Call it a “build cycle” a “work unit” a “chunk” or anything. But “sprint” has meaning and it’s not what goes on every day for weeks at a time.
