A bug in SwiftUI that didn't exist in iOS 17 and which appeared starting in iOS 18 appears to finally be fixed in iOS 26.1 beta 4!!
Very happy about this one as it manifests itself via the contents of some List() items not rendering at all if the user scrolls too quickly.

Tahoe indenting menu items in sections that contain at least one icon makes for some unusual inconsistencies depending on what else is in the menu.
For example, compare the indentation of items between Safari's File and Edit menus. Makes it look like something's wrong with the File menu.
That feeling when you find an incredibly bizarre behaviour in your app, then finally manage to track down what seems to be the cause, and are able to reproduce it in a minimal sample project to submit to Apple: 😌

After numerous trips to pre-Covid WWDC, @DeepDishSwift was my first "small" conference and it was an absolute blast.
Amazing people, great sessions, fantastic food, and a hell of a good time.
Huge props to @joshdholtz, and Kari, and everyone else involved in putting it all together.
Hope to see y'all for next year's!
