@kzimmermann In fact - the recommendation from them is to have certbot check for a renewal daily via a cron job. It will not renew until you have 30 days remaining; in fact, certbot will see that you have more than 30 days and won't actually request a new cert.

@atomicpoet hopefully, FTP is relegated to the obsolete bin for most users unless it is truly required for in-house use .. No reason to not use SSH based transfers in one way or another...
