It's remarkable how much anti-trans rhetoric mirrors the anti-gay rhetoric and argumentative moves from a decade or more ago. (And sadly resurfacing today.)

You hear, "It's a choice." Or, "They're recruiting kids." Or, "It's a sickness." Or, "It's a social contagion."

And yet all of them are mainly just grasping for reasons to offer up for opposition to trans acceptance and rights that aren't the actual, underlying bigotry and fear of social change.
