I just realised a bunch of people follow me on mastodon.social, I don't even know why I have a mastodon.social account anymore, but I am actually over at wandering.shop, so, uh, sorry, come look for me over there!
I have a bunch of friends from Twitter joining Mastodon tonight so I made a quick guide to how the site works. Making it public so anyone can see/boost it if it's helpful. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
May we collectively breathe in the stardust she has left behind for luck, for strength, for fortitude and courage.
May we take comfort in the shade of her shadow, the vast mountainous legacy marking how she moved worlds.
May we, perchance, dare to dream as she did, following the wind in her wake that whispers to us all the wisdom of her years.

If you missed it the last half dozen times we've talked it up, #PitMasto is going to be a chance for authors with finished novel manuscripts and #wip to practice pitching their stories and (if we can get a few more publishers and/or agents participating) maybe get their stories picked up.

Details here: https://www.cuilpress.com/pitmasto/

Please boost & share, especially if you know any active #books hashtags we haven't used in previous #pitmasto toots.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone's pitches!

Inspired by #pitmad, the awesome creation of Brenda Drake , we asked folks on Mastodon if they'd be interested in a Mastodon version of PitMad. We called it #PitMasto and were pleasantly surprised by the response. So we're gonna run with it. Here's the official page.

If you like creepypasta scaring the willikers out of children, my latest short story "When the Bough Breaks" is based on the 1993 Highland Towers collapse in #Malaysia

Oh Internet, the question I'm asking is "how much money would it cost to play DDR every day" not "how much weight would I lose playing DDR everyday" who cares about losing weight, I want muscley legs dammit
I've been doing squats and planks while catching up on my reading (squats for paperback only, though, bit challenging to hold open a book while doing planks, but alternating hands to swipe pages is like the equivalent of shoulder taps). Tell me I'm not the only one who pairs reading with exercise?
Hey so what have folks been reading lately? I'm working through Daughters of a Nation: A Black Suffragette Historical Romance Anthology and this one otome game because I'm done a critical dissertation and needed to salve my soul with some good brain candy.
THUNDERBIRD STRIKE, an #indigenous phone app game, is now available for free download! It's a simple 2D sidescroller game made with very little funding, and which is pissing off oil industrialists: https://www.thunderbirdstrike.com
