This year was a great year for running for me, with plenty of PRs. Ran 1300 km, 300 km more than last year, 200 km short of my goal for this year.

Hope 2025 will be an amazing sports, but above all, health year for you all! ✌️

In 2003, Apple released a 64-bit dual-core 1.8Ghz system: Power Mac G5.

In 2023, Apple released a 64-bit dual-core 1.8Ghz system: Apple Watch Series 9.

The Watch is faster and has more RAM.

The G5 was too hot to put in a laptop. It'd use up S9's battery in under 2 minutes.

This thing is such an advertisement for Apple Silicon though, not an apples to apples comparison but my M1 Mac mini idles at 5W, this Mac Pro idles at 150W 💀

Can't believe they haven't solved this yet. Huge UX flaw. Meanwhile I need to download third party tools that need to record my screen in order to fix this.

We've had Macs with a notch for over 3 years and macOS will still just _hide_ your menu bar icons if it runs out of space. There's no visible truncation, no way to scroll, no way to even know that some icons are hidden — it's one of my most reported Hand Mirror “bugs” 🤯
