@incomparable Shouldn’t this be a special episode of “Fortunate Familes”, the across the pond (and equally legally distinct) sister show to Feuding Families?

@daringfireball I don’t understand who the market is or what the point of this product is? If you want to replace the phone you at minimum need all day battery. What do you do while charging if you need corrective lenses? And finding an effective alternative for user input is tough no matter how cool the band is. If it’s not an all day device it’s not ambiently on you, it’s something you put on to use for a purpose (much like current AR/VR headsets) so what are we even doing?

@atpfm Pocketscasts has had episode artwork for a while but I turned it off mostly for the reason @marcoarment said - I was getting episode artwork that I didn’t recognize in the list so I couldn’t ID it quickly. Some episode artwork had branding so they were recognizeable, some didn’t and overall it’s better to turn them off if they are shown outside of the context of the actual episode playing.

@robot Menards (regional hardware store chain) has (had?) propane tank vending machines - it accepted a 20# empty and dispenses a full tank. I tried it once but just do the manual thing now. It’s a bit too high tech of a solution for the problem for my taste but it’s a reminder that pretty much anything physical can be vended if you put your mind to it.

@Lyle @hotdogsladies I think I’ve seen it 3-4 times and Keaton is the only thing I remember about it. The Pythonesque horse riding, etc. injected some fun into the movie at least.

@incomparable @jsnell @dmoren I thought for sure we were going to see Margo in the Roscosmos surveillance photos but then it dawned on me that nobody looking at the photos had a deep connection to her (like Aleida) so even if she was in one it might go unnoticed. Definitely waiting for that shoe to drop.

@jsnell @dmoren I love your fascination with the vending machine but can somebody explain the obsession with spaghetti? Not just at the Outpost, it's in other places (e.g., the comfort meal during the landslide ep). I don't recall it being a cultural trend in real life - for my family it was never more than a quick and easy kid-friendly meal.
