That one font article bugs me a tiny bit because it ignores the fact that the early Apple II manuals all used ITC Avant Garde Gothic Paneuropean for their titles.
I also believe (but would not swear) that there was a period in 1983 when all the Apple //e material leaned heavily on Futura.
so after being bedridden for 16months due to a hernia, I've finally got my surgery!

The video is garbled, but this is expected. The serial port displayed on the second monitor shows the codes for the graphic operations. If the VideoRAM is converted to the linear mode (simple rampdump + open as binary), then we can see the Solitaire in its glory.
I think Word and Excel will work just fine, but they won't fit on my test floppy. I'll check them out when the driver is working, of course.
