Depressing how meagre the goals of folks on social security and how unlikely they are to be met.

Rally to Raise the Rate
The federal budget is just a few weeks away and the Labor government have refused to commit to raise welfare payments above the poverty line. We cannot allow another budget to pass by, leaving millions of Australians struggling to survive below the poverty line. This is Albo's last chance to live up to his promise that nobody would be left behind. Join the Australian Unemployed Workers' Union and our supporters in demanding Albo do what is right at the upcoming budget when we Rally to Raise the Rate on the Friday 28th of April, 12pm at Anthony Albanese's Office in Marrickville. Anthony Albanese and Labor cannot ignore those being left behind. Make your voice heard and tell Albo he won't get away with leaving welfare payments below the poverty line for another year. If you have any questions or need help attending please contact [email protected] and we will ensure you can come along and make your voice heard.
