@w7voa I grew up around guns. There were rifles in the hall closet and my dad had a .45 caliber pistol hanging from a holster on the bedpost. And I never shot anyyone, because I knew if I even touched one of those firearms without adult supervision, I was going to have a VERY bad day. This parent completely abrogated her responsibility, and I hope like hell she pays for it.
@clive @pluralistic I've been doing quite a bit of experimenting with AI lately, and I've come to the conclusion that it's really not that intelligent. It gets basic facts wrong and its "creative" output is flat, literal, and unimaginative at best, downright ugly at worst.
