Narrowing down games for a long weekend is... a process.

I haven't fought many games as hard as #divinityoriginalsin2 but I think it's going to stick this time. The action RPG (Diablo) fan in me just wants to murder and loot EVERYTHING.

The breakthrough was when I gave tabletop RPGs a chance and embraced creating my own story and characters around an adventure. I approached DOS2 differently this time and it feels limitless to me right now. No more analysis paralysis or the pull to be a chaotic completionist. #videogames

I am finally enjoying #Codenames more every time I play it.

That's probably because it's a great game and we played it wrong the first few times. It turns out if you just try to guess 1 word per round, the game is kind of boring.

The first time you successfully steal a victory with a final round connecting 3+ words it pretty much guarantees regular play sessions.

That being said. I still can't figure out a word to make someone guess Centaur without guessing Unicorn. #tabletop #boardgames

Tracking down a copy of Frosthaven ended up bringing back almost decade old memories of midnight video game releases. Gloomhaven cemented my adoration for tabletop games over the last couple years, but it didn't land with me in time to catch Frosthaven's crowdfunding campaigns. I really thought it would be later this year before I found a copy.

Very excited to get this to the table. Especially now that I figured out how to get this giant, dense box out of the box it shipped in. #tabletop
