Not to mention that for the vast majority of measles infections that don't immediately kill a toddler, it effectively factory resets their immune systems.😮

They have to be revaccinated, or re-live those other infections again.
And these days it's harder to get vaccinated.

Erik MoellerI find Trump as repulsive as most people here, but as a German, one thing I want to push back on is focusing only on one man.
Hitler's rise was possible because he was able to exploit the racial hatred and conspiratorial thinking that already existed.
It's MAGA acolytes that see Trump as an extraordinary figure. He was a reality show grifter with a crumbling business; Hitler was an undisciplined drifter with delusions of grandeur.
It's the soil that matters, not just the rotten harvest.

I find photography both daunting and satisfying, sometimes in …equal measures, and spending time with the new-to-me TL2 camera from 8 years ago has been quite satisfying… and daunting. So that checks out (I’m very circuitous).

The Nikon Zf
In a desperate attempt to spark some enthusiasm for photography, I bought a Nikon Zf. I know, this is not the best approach, but it’s what I did so here we are. I’m jotting down a few quick thoughts and first impressions. (This isn’t a review. Just notes to myself about the camera). Nikon Zf The Zf1 is meant to replace my Leica SL2. The SL2 is a terrific camera, but it’s so big and heavy that I never take it anywhere. With the Zf being smaller and lighter, I figured it would make more sense as an “everyday carry” camera.
Most of the people that voted for Trump, are happy with what's happened.
Most of the centrist Dems that talked about moving right, are still talking about moving right.
So most of the people that stayed home or voted 3rd party, would stay home or vote 3rd party again.
No one has learned anything.
