Tech professional and enthusiast, recent convert back to Apple after seven years with Google and Android.

Most computer users are aware of the buttons that minimize, maximize, restore and close windows. But I was surprised to learn that with MacOS the close button can actually alert you to the fact that changes made to your document or other file are not yet saved.

You see, the red dot that is the close button in the MacOS traffic light has a small black dot within it to let you know that you have unsaved changes. How about that? J
