The illustrations in in the graphic edition of Tim Snyder’s “On Tyranny” are simple, and sometimes unsettling, but really help to reinforce the lessons that Snyder wants us to learn. My personal favorite lesson - Do not obey in advance. @bookstodon #OnTyranny #Books

I have a confession. I love old newspapers. I love going to https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/ and just browsing different topics. Here's an article from the Lake County Times about the first Indy 500 on May 30, 1911. I could seriously do this all day. #newspapers #nerd #history
