My first video upload here, not sure if it takes time to process or I did it wrong 🤔
This is one of my favorite features I've worked on recently. You can compare your database queries with and without PlanetScale Boost. We want people to be able to easily share the generated graphs (with coworkers in Slack, on Twitter, etc. so we let you download them or copy them to your clipboard by converting the whole DOM element to a PNG (w/ correct pixel density).
Building out a set of mini wireframes for our app so that I better visualize the IA and to help sketch out low-fidelity flows more quickly.

Mailbrew recently changed owners and is now a free service (previously nearly $100/yr). It's one of the best tools for wasting less time online while staying in the loop on things you care about. Generate email digests of subreddits, YouTube subs, Hacker News, Twitter lists (even more useful now that I'm mostly done with #birdsite), and more.

I’m loving this trend of animation studios trying non-photorealistic rendering styles. I love Pixar, but every movie has looked more or less the same for the last 25 years.

Short and sweet anti-crypto documentary.

This was an hour well spent. Well written, hits all the important points, and a great launching pad for anyone to ask follow up questions.

Good video to share with family and friends, and warn them of this high tech scam.

I can’t remember where I heard it (might have been from Zach Holman) but I love the idea of “parking downhill” at the end of the day. Meaning, leave the last part of your task unfinished so you can easily knock it out in the morning and build momentum.
My front doorknob today – on the inside ❄️🥶

I’m not sure how common this is, but for years my and my wife’s family have been in the habit of basically telling each other what to buy for Xmas. It drives me nuts.

This year we started telling each other our favorite charities and making donations in their names. It’s less stress and feels great. 💝
