I'm going to be disciplined. Wake up early and exercise. Like, actually be an adult

*learns that would require me going to bed at a reasonable time and not staying up late for no reason whatsoever*

Me:

I don't get the criticism of the new #Ahsoka series. You *only* need to watch 70 episodes of a children's cartoon that's been off the air for six years to understand who these characters are and what's going on. Some of you aren't true fans and it shows.

“Did Abraham Lincoln ever cosplay as Edgar Allan Poe?”

*HEAVY eye roll from the Salmon of Knowledge*

I'm "excited about a new dehumidifier" years old today. I'm not ready. I thought I'd have more time.
Just got back from a trip to Britain and I'm mildly devastated by how few crumpet options there are in the American Midwest.

To be clear, I’m *not* saying people who do video calls at full volume in a coffee shop should be launched directly into the sun. Definitely NOT saying that.

…but if they were, would anyone miss them?

Technically there don’t appear to be any laws specifically forbidding private longbow ranges, but that’s probably because literally no one has ever asked that question in suburban Cincinnati.

I’d like to build a range in my backyard to practice with the English longbow, but local laws seem to suggest this is illegal, which could put me into conflict with the local sheriff. Might have to hide out in the forest to do so. Might need some green cloaks—

“Wow, this really escalated quickly. I see how this happens!” I say as I’m robbing an abbot passing through my lands.

@boelder yikes… you hear “it’s a dry heat!” A lot. How much water does that hold (before the water is evaporated by the extreme heat)?
I’ll take the blustery, wet 19°C (66°F) British summer over the Midwest North America one any time. It’s not going to get under a consistent high of 85°F here in Ohio until halfway through September at least. Ugh.
