@touk I think that you hit the nail on the head with "over-sized", that's the key strength and weakness of federation. With the granularity of smaller servers a per-server "to block or not to block" decision makes sense. That decision is much harder when you're looking at a massive server like Threads.
What we really need from Threads (and Bluesky) is the ability for users to move to another server (taking all their data and followers with them). That's the crucial differentiator in my opinion.

Daarom de PVV buiten de macht houden. Dat is niet anti-democratisch maar democratische plicht.
