The greatest danger of so-called AI isn’t that it will become some kind of science fiction super-intelligence that takes over the planet from humans.
The danger is that this technology will continue to be as stupid as it is now, but humans will, out of laziness and greed, allow the stupid technology to make important decisions automatically.

Now @mozilla is officially building upon the Fediverse. Their foray will be an instance hosted at mozilla.social.
But I hope they go further than this:
1. Make Thunderbird a Fediverse client
2. Build in-browser Fediverse functionality
3. Support a Fediverse app ecosystem
Mozilla can do so much to further the Fediverse. Let's hope that they think big.
