I'm an American living permanently in Australia. I moved here 10 years ago. I have 3 kids, although 2 are now adults, and 2 step kids. My wife and I live on the #SunshineCoast in Queensland. It's beautiful here. We have a dog named Lola. Here's a picture of her on the beach. #DogsOfMastaodon
I'm for progressive causes, #LGBTQIrights, #feminism and yes I usually list my pronouns. I'm always fascinated by people who get worked up by this. I have a name that could be typically used by a man or woman so I think it's just common courtesy. I also think it's good to normalize asking someone's pronouns.
I dislike guns and believe the US should get rid of the #secondamendment. I believe in socialized healthcare and #medicareforall. I think there's a slippery slope here in Australia where we walk back some of our awesome #guncontrol policies or give too much leeway to for-profit healthcare.
