@timpritlove Um zu lernen wie man eine Drohne in ein feindliches Ziel steuert, braucht es keinen jungen Menschen. Das kann jeder bis ins höhere Alter lernen. Sich hier auf junge Menschen festzulegen, ist meines Erachtens nach falsch.
Es ist auch ein wenig unfair gegenüber den jetzt Musterungspflichtigen, dass bspw. meine Alterskohorte von aktuell 20-35 weder Wehr- noch Zivildienst leisten musste.
Deswegen könnte man das „Pflichtjahr“ ruhig bis zur Rentengrenze einfordern können.

@carnage4life regarding those BYD numbers: They‘re so much higher than Tesla‘s because they register and then deregister the cars themselves to sell them with a discount. Those cars are then not considered „new“ anymore.
This is called „Tageszulassung“ in German and a very common thing to do. Some local newspapers reported about that a few months ago.

@Techaltar you should checkout if their debt increased the same way their interest payments increased, or not. Then you‘ll maybe see how they‘re able to pay for all of this R&D.

What's to stop Musk, who's already tried meddling with German elections, from seizing Zelenskyy's, or any other European leader's X account, and posting something with dire geopolitical consequences? We're way past the point where it's wise for European leaders and institutions to rely on a presence on X—and other US platforms are not a good long-term solution either. More should follow the example of the @EUCommission and provide their updates directly, without middlemen, through the fediverse.
