“That’s the problem with competition, isn’t it Brigs?” The Alligator smirked as Brigsby struggled to grab the strange device dangling above him, “just when you think you’re on top, someone comes and pulls the rug out from underneath you…”
“Gib!” The small bear whined; grasping desperately at machine only for it to be moved just out of reach again.
“I was on top before you came along,” Minty spoke flatly, “I was happy to share but you were just too motivated…you always had to do more,’’
Brigsby let out an infantile mewl.
“..and the teasing…” he smirked, barely letting he bear touch the device before pulling it away, “you were so cocky”.
Hot, fat tears ran down Brigsby’s cheeks as he yelled and kicked his legs in frustration.
“Awww…so fussy,” the large gator took the device away and stuffed it in his jacket pocket. He turned and walked to the door of the nursery before stopping. Minty turned back and smirked at the squalling baby in his crib.
“Don’t worry Brigsby, I’ll come back to visit…and if you’re a good boy, maybe I’ll let you grow up a little; but in the meantime…your daddy will be home very soon and he’ll take care of that dirty diaper of yours”.
