First a disclaimer: Dave Sim is a sexist and a misogynist, a miserable person and wish nothing but ill for him. I separate the art from the artist for the first four phone books, because of a teenage fondness for them, and the genuine humor in them, but make a hard cut after Church and State, because that’s where the mask really comes off.
