Well I just impulse bought myself a shiny thing. 😳
They had an EX foil copy in stock for very near the price of a regular The Ozolith. I'm good with EX condition for very expensive cards I don't plan on selling, if I get a substantial discount (as I did here).
Wilson will be pleased. He can share with Skullbriar and Galadriel if needed.
Sunday Commander question: what card hits the stack and makes the whole table grin, even if it might wreck the game? The big silly haymakers are part of the charm. What's yours?

Coveted Jewel might be the most Commander card ever. Draw 3, make 3 mana, then immediately turn the whole table into treasure goblins. Still slamming it every time. https://grimdeck.com/card/moc/353/coveted-jewel

Welcome to MTG Card Saturday!
Some cards you need to test in games to see how good they are. One of these is Firebender Ascension. Although you have to attack four times before it copies, it’s still a two-mana enchantment with the potential to copy all your combat abilities.
Beware: it triggers only on abilities that trigger on attack, so it can’t copy combat damage effects, unfortunately.
Consider picking one up!
When choosing between multiple printings of a card, does anyone else consider how much they like the set symbol?
If all else is equal (art, price, frame, etc) I choose copies that have set symbols I like
For example I love the symbols for Commander Masters, any Double Masters set, LotR, Baldur’s Gate, Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, Modern Horizons 1 & 2 (but not 3). I am neutral to dislike on most other symbols. (No criticism of the set’s quality, just the symbol.)
